I've been on both ends of this fight.
I was labeled "too skinny" since the day I was born, went through surgery and chronic illness, and fought depression that came with feeling like my body was working against me. When I finally could put on weight, I went overboard the other way. Eventually I used all of it — the surgeries, the setbacks, the overcorrection — as fuel to build the strongest, most capable version of myself.
